6th August 2010 We feature on The Drift - BBC Radio Lancashire . Phil Brown covered Warwick Folk Festival on his
Friday evening program The Drift, and we were one of the featured artists. On the Sunday morning of the festival, Dan, Matt,
Susie, Laurel and Tim, all squeezed into Phil’s tent. He interviewed and recorded us on a single mike, and we played
live Buxom Lass and Edwin Set. Thanks to Phil for taking the time to feature us on his great show.

31st July 2010 What a Saturday at Sidmouth Folk Festival . Matt, Tim, Laurel were already in Sidmouth so
they had a relaxing day by the sea. Dan, Joe, Susie hoped to spend some time on the promenade, but the 6 hour journey from
the Midlands via the M5 car park put paid to that. Poor old Will's cross country expedition from Cambridge got him in
Sidmouth for 10.30pm when the gig had finished. The evening concert at the Anchor Inn though was a ball, brilliant audience,
great dancing by Sciorr, and certain young Ted Crum joined the band on harmonica for the ceilidh section of the set with great
calling by Phil Bassendale. Thanks to Sidmouth for inviting us to play, we hope to be back next year.
|
26th July 2010 Another great weekend at Warwick Folk Festival . Thanks to all those people who came to watch us,
and it was great to meet old and make new freinds at our "home" festival. Warwick is a top festival with fantastic
stewards; we have to say that as a number of our parents, partners, friends are stewards, including our manager and his wife.
|
21st June 2010 Congratulations to Susie and Adam who were married on Friday
18th June.
|
15th June 2010 We had a great weekend playing at The Gateway to Southwell . It is a wonderful festival that we can highly recommend. The weather
was fine and mainly sunny all weekend, that is until we took to the main stage for our Sunday evening concert when the heavens
opened. Many good memories of the weekend, including Callum Bones (Dan and Marie's 6 month old son) joining in a pub music
session and stealing the show. We thoroughly enjoyed playing the Sunday lunchtime ceilidh with a great caller Liam Robinson.
Our thanks to the festival organisers for booking us, to all the hard working stewards, and the festival goers who came to
see us.
|
10th May 2010 We had a great weekend by the sea. Thanks to the organisers
of Cromer Folk on the Pier for making us so welcome and looking after us. The weather was not the best on
the Saturday, but it was snug and warm inside the theatre for our afternoon concert. Early in the evening we retired to the
Red Lion Hotel for food, drinks, and of course a session. After watching the later part of the evening concert, we enjoyed
a late night session in the festival hotel.

31st August 2009 We has a great weekend at Shrewsbury Folk Festival It was a somewhat eventful but very enjoyable weekend. Friday
- Three of the band got stuck in major motorway jams, and their anticipated 1pm arrival time became 5.15pm. They literally
walked on the stage as their performance started. Thanks to the great sound engineers and MC, the set was a great success.
Saturday - All went for the sound check in the dance tent, and the band where within 15 minutes of playing went part
of the marquee fell down. A hastily arranged Al fresco acoustic performance outside the now evacuated marquee was enjoyed
by all. Sunday - Fortunately no disasters today, but instead a very enjoyable return to Genevieve Tudor's legendary
middle studio to perform live on her Sunday Folk on BBC Radio Shropshire.
|
29th July 2009 It was a privelage to play on the main stage at Warwick Folk Festival Warwick is our "home" festival, and we

festivals.

15th May 2009 fRoots - Issue 312, June 2009 "The QP Intro (QP QPCD0801) Lots of good ideas here, heaps of rhythmic
trickery, bags of oomph and crossing of ethnic styles. You can see the potential, go for it; bright and willing to learn,
The QP have but one fault and that’s too much that’s high end, they’re missing the heavy groove that an
electric bass would bring to their brilliant drummer. As an introduction though, this’ll do."

9th July 2008 The QP had a brilliant time at Coventry's Godiva Festival last weekend. We played in the Rhythm Tent on the Sunday afternoon at the
